In January we were
pleased to add Matt Elmore to our growing Global staff.
This month we have another addition to introduce. Please help us welcome
Steve Dusek to the Global family! Steve, a
longtime Global Youth Ministry veteran, comes to us with 17+
years of local youth ministry experience. Steve's
sense of purpose and self-motivation is sure to help Global
take a leap forward in our Camp and Conference ministry.
Steve and his wife, Sherry, have two children, Zachary and
Lauren. Be sure
to send Steve a welcome
email to say, "Hello!" |

God is definitely at work
atop Fort Mountain in Georgia! Last Friday Global
Youth Ministry was able to secure 42 acres adjacent to
Cohutta Lodge to serve as our permanent ministry
headquarters. This strategic purchase will provide
room for growth for the
Institute for Global Youth Studies,
an environment where young men and women are equipped to be world changers!
Last fall
the Institute trained students that are now serving as
mentors in Kenya and Moldova! For more
information about the Institute visit:
www.globalyouthstudies.org. You can be part of
this amazing training! Enrollment is intentionally limited, so call us today for
more information: 877-251-1850 or visit
www.globalyouthstudies.org to download an application.

REAGAN'S RECOMMENDATION
The
Complete Evangelism Guidebook

There’s a great resource that I keep several
copies of on my shelves for my students. It’s
called “The Complete Evangelism
Guidebook...Expert Advice on Reaching Others for
Christ.” It has incredible insight and advice
for sharing your faith with people from all
walks of life. It is a compiled work from
authors such as Luis Palau, Josh McDowell,
George Barna, Rick Warren, Steve Sjogren, and
many others. It is edited by Scott Dawson.
Maybe you are like me and have had a student
come up and ask something like, “Can you tell me
how to share Jesus with my Buddhist friend?” and
maybe you, like me, were a little lacking in
understanding of what a Buddhist actually
believes.
This book has been a great resource because not
only will it summarize in a very understandable
what different groups of people believe and
where they are coming from but it also gives a
wise approach to conversation about Christ
involving the very core of their held beliefs.
The book is broken into sections from age
groups, by vocation, by religion, race, life
situations, sexual orientation, etc. Really
good stuff to get your hands on!
