GLOBAL YOUTH MINISTRY
AND CASTING CROWNS IN ISRAEL

We had an amazing experience last week in Jerusalem. We were part of sincere worship with over 600 believers!  Many believers were both encouraged in their walk with Jesus and challenged in their ministry to others. We hope to go back very soon!

Love them like Jesus,

Mark Hall

Momentum1 conference in Israel!

God is moving in the Holy Land!  Global Youth Ministry has had amazing opportunities to support youth ministry in Israel over the past 12 years.  Just last week we had the privilege of conducting a Momentum1 conference for youth and youth leaders.  Just under 100 teens and leaders from all over Israel came to learn how healthy youth ministries grow!  After the conference Mark Hall, Juan Devevo and Hector Cervantes of Casting Crowns presented a concert.  One organizer said, "This is the greatest number of teenage believers I have ever seen together in Israel in my 24 years!”  God is moving all over the world to touch the lives of teenagers.  Pray for these as they grow to be the leaders God wants them to be!  (top)

MONTHLY free resource

This month's free resource is a Sunday school lesson written by our own Roger Glidewell from Ezra 4 called "Friend or Foe: Wolves in Sheep's Clothing."  This lesson was written to enable students to recognize that not everyone who acts friendly is a true friend.  This lesson is part of our brand new By the Book curriculum entitled "Against the Odds" which is available starting April 15th.  Enjoy!
Download PDF of Lesson here.

Be sure to visit www.globalyouthministry.org/jumpstart for more FREE resources.  In addition to our free resources, Global also provides verse by verse comprehensive Bible studies which are available on our online store for a nominal cost.  Each unit provides everything you need for one month of youth ministry!  Visit the church curriculum section of our site for great resources to teach Biblical truth to your teens!  (top)

THERE'S STILL TIME TO
ENROLL AT THE INSTITUTE

Imagine being able to help your students save semesters of indecision by gaining a clearer perspective on God's call for their life while acquiring valuable leadership skills that will help them become a person of influence, regardless of their college major or career path!  The Institute for Global Youth Studies partners with Jay Strack and Student Leadership University to offer an emerging leader's track. In this accredited track, college students and youth leaders are exposed to some of the greatest minds

in the development of young leaders in the country.  Part of the journey includes a trip visiting places where great leaders have made world-changing decisions.  Students study personal disciplines, character development and leadership principles. The Institute also offers tracks for Youth Ministry majors and minors as well as a track for those interested in doing Youth Ministry as Missions around the globe. Enrollment is intentionally limited, so call us today for more information!  877-251-1850 or visit www.globalyouthstudies.org to download an application.   (top)

YOUTH CAMPS YOU CAN BELIEVE IN

With seven locations and fourteen camps to choose from, Global Youth Camps have just the right location for you!  This year we are proud to introduce Eagle Eyrie in the Mountains near Lynchburg, VA!

Global Youth Ministry's mission is to help youth leaders equip youth to reach the largest “people group” on the planet...their fellow teens!  Global Youth Camps are more than just a camp for your youth!  Here’s what we believe:

We believe excellence should be affordable! We keep our prices as low as possible without sacrificing quality...because as fellow youth leaders we have been where you are and understand the need for economy!

The Bible is the Source!  We offer expository Bible study at our camps.  In fact, everything will be focused upon Nehemiah this summer, and not only during worship: even the recreation, the rallies, etc., follow the biblical theme!

Relationships are valued!  We do not host “super-camps” where your group gets lost in the masses.  We purposefully cap our camp attendance—we prefer 500 or even fewer—in order to minister individually with your students.  Our worship times are strong, led by gifted people who are passionate about worship and the Word!  However, our speakers and musicians are not “super-stars” who disappear after their stage appearance. They walk right off the stage among the students to help with small groups, recreation, free time...all day long!  Not only are they real: they make serving God seem more realistic and “do-able” for your students!

Adults are blessed!  Some of our best feedback comes from the adults who attend with the students!  They are neither herded off to the side to keep them out of the way of the ‘staff;’ nor are they loaded down with jobs they didn’t bargain for.  Each adult can participate in the program in any number of ways...their choice!  AND we host “adult-only” times each day just to feed and nurture and bless your volunteers with Bible insights and practical helps that send them away truly refreshed and ready to minister back home!

Your older students are challenged to servant leadership!  Youth leaders may recommend their 11th graders through graduates to serve with our staff as “family leaders.”  These students will be privileged to see camp from a whole new perspective at the side of a qualified college “team leader” as they serve their team! They get special training and special time with the camp leadership...and they come home ready and eager to serve their youth group more effectively and humbly.

Come to Global Youth Camp!  To get further information or reserve a spot, give us a call to our toll-free number, 1-877-251-1800.  Or check out our website, www.globalyouthministry.org!  We are eager to join with you in helping to raise up an army of students to serve God in their generation!  Already registered?  Visit our Camp Promotion Web Page for tips on promoting camp to your students, including new theme-specific art!  (top)

REAGAN'S RECOMMENDATION
EXPERIENCING GOD FOR YOUTH

Right now we are taking our students through the classic "Experiencing God for Youth" at our church. As always, this study brings about amazing perspective and growth in peoples' lives. Our adults who are leading it are walking away with just as much or more than the students they are leading in it. In it, Blackaby takes timeless scriptural truths and distills them to memorable steps to help you see where God is at work and join him.  If you've never taken a group through this study this would be a great one to pick up and do.
